How do we cut stone floors without cracking them?
We use a diamond saw at low speed with continuous water spray to cool the blade. We measure the route precisely first and cut slowly from both sides of each stone to reduce stress.
Does a deep floor trap affect the basin design we choose?
Yes, if the trap is deeper than one and a half metres, the pipe fall will be too shallow. We then choose a wall-hung basin with a much higher outlet to ensure waste water drains quickly.
