Will cutting a waste line under marble damage surrounding tiles?
We cut a narrow groove carefully with diamond tools to prevent marble cracking. After laying the pipe, we compact fine sand around it and seal the groove with mortar matching the current colour.
If the existing trap is too shallow, can it be deepened?
Deepening a trap under existing villa marble requires wide breakage and leaves permanent cracks. Instead, we choose a wall-hung basin with a horizontal waste line that gains full fall before entering the existing trap.
