Can a wall-hung toilet be installed in an old brick wall?
Yes but only if solid concrete lies behind the brick. We drill carefully and test for solidity before anchoring, and if concrete is absent we mount a steel frame resting on the tile floor instead.
Will the old tiles need to be completely removed?
No, we cut small openings only for supply and waste line runs, but we do remove tiles around the new frame at least 15 cm deep so it anchors correctly.
