Does saline sand around the pit affect which sealant type we use?
Yes, ordinary sealant erodes quickly from underground salt. We use cement sealant treated with salt-resistant additive to withstand Dhaher's saline soil.
What happens if the pit leaks again two months after sealing?
We return to inspect the spot by camera to pinpoint the leak exactly, then strip the failed sealant and apply a second coat. If the leak is from a deep crack in the concrete we may recommend wall reinforcement before re-sealing.
