What height should the soil stack have from the ground-floor bathroom to the roof?
The stack must run without sharp bends from the lowest point in the bathroom to at least 30 centimetres above the roof. This stops backflow and odours and lets air in when water drains.
Can we join waste from two adjoining bathrooms into one floor trap?
