How do I protect PEX pipes in the trench from tree roots and burrowing?
We place the pipes inside thick-walled polyethylene protection sleeves in the trench. This completely separates PEX from soil, roots and burrowing animals and makes future maintenance easier.
Can two separate wells feed one PEX network?
Yes, but we need a check valve on each well line to prevent water from one well flowing back toward the other. We test these valves by pumping from each well separately.
