What if the bathroom floor slopes too steeply?
We raise one side with thick cement shims and anchor them with metal bolts into the floor. The level is checked twice before the waste and cistern connections are made.

We apply waterproof odour-resistant putty around the pan base and connect the waste with a flexi outlet sealed by a metal band. Leaks do not occur if the joint is tight and the pipe has the right fall.
