Do we need an external pump if the boiler has a built-in pump?
If the boiler delivers adequate flow and pressure is stable the built-in pump suffices. If flow is weak or unstable we add a powerful external pump in parallel with the built-in one.
How do we avoid noise from hot water in tight pipes?
Noise comes from pressure too high or air trapped in the loop. We adjust the pressure-limit valve to keep pressure below three bar, and bleed air from the top vent valve.
