Why does water stop reaching upper flats even though the tank is full?
Usually because the pump is too weak to overcome the high pressure in the long pipe, or because the line is partly blocked by scale. We measure pressure at the pump outlet and midway up the tower to diagnose the problem precisely then select a stronger pump if needed.
Do the long pipes in the tower need air release valves at stages?
Yes, pipes rising more than twenty metres need at least one air release valve midway and another on the roof. This prevents air trapping which greatly reduces flow and causes banging sounds in the pipes.
