Can one flat have its own separate heater instead of sharing the central system?
Yes, with approval from building management and the owner. We install an independent heater in the kitchen or laundry room and connect it only to that flat's supply and return lines. The old shared pipes stay in place for other flats.
What happens if the main riser in the stack gets blocked?
We run a high-pressure cleaning device from bottom and top together to pull out sediment and rust. If it does not clear, we remove the blocked pipe section and replace it with new copper or stainless steel.
