Can a leaking pit damage house foundations?
Yes, steady leakage raises groundwater around the foundations and weakens soil gradually over months. The sealant stops new seepage but saturated soil may need additional drainage.
Does a very deep pit need different waterproofing?
The chemical sealant we use works at any depth because it penetrates cracks even in old concrete. The only difference is that reaching the bottom of a very deep pit is harder and slower.
