Can a factory pit be sealed without stopping production?
Yes if there is a backup pit or temporary tank available. If it is the only pit then factory discharge must stop for eight to ten hours until the coating dries.
What is different about sealing a large industrial pit versus a small one?
A large pit needs heavier lifting equipment and more labour for descent and ascent, and the sealant takes longer because the interior surface is bigger. The principle is the same but execution takes a full day or more.
