How do we fit so many pipes through very narrow wall chases?
We choose different pipe diameters, some 15 mm and others 20 mm to match expected flow, and stack them vertically rather than horizontally. We leave tiny gaps between pipes for easy fitting and thermal expansion.
Can hot and cold pipes run side by side in the same wall chase?
Yes, but we wrap the hot water line in thick foam insulation to prevent heat loss to the adjacent cold line. We maintain at least 50 mm spacing between them.
