How do we keep cooling water separate from sanitary waste?
We draw two separate networks from the start, each with different colours on the plans. The cooling line ends in a holding sump, and sanitary waste ends at the main treatment plant.
Are standard inspection chambers large enough for these heavy flows?
No, we use chambers one and a half metres across to slow velocity and let heavier matter settle. Covers are heavy steel to withstand loading and vibration from plant overhead.
