Is it safe to use old lead pipes for the new fixture supply?
No, we replace any lead pipe completely with approved copper or plastic pipe. Lead can leach into water especially if water is acidic or pipes are very old, a health risk we cannot accept.
If waste pipes in the walls are too narrow can they be enlarged?
Yes, but this requires opening walls fully and replacing the narrow section with a wider pipe. We measure available routes through floors and ceilings first to decide new pipe size and opening positions, as this work affects the structure.
