Do seasonal winds loosen the cabin over time?
Winds apply constant horizontal stress, so we use longer bolts than other areas and may add a diagonal brace at the corner. Stability is tested every six months by hand pulling.
How do we seal joints in mud and stone walls?
Silicone alone does not last on porous mud, so we use acrylic silicone with a thick foam tape backing to fill large gaps. This stops water entering behind the frame.
