Can a shower cabin be installed where an old shower was without breaking tiles?
If the existing drain outlet lines up with the new tray and the supply positions are right, no breaking is needed. If the drain is offset or the fall is wrong, limited breaking becomes necessary to get the connection right.
Why does moisture appear under the shower tray some time after installation?
The most common cause is a poor or standard-grade silicone under the tray edge cracking over time. A trap joint made without a proper rubber seal is another route for water to escape under the base.
Can you install a cabin the customer has already purchased?
Yes, we install cabins supplied by the customer. We only ask that all parts and fixings are on site before the visit, as a missing component stops the job.
How is the cabin fixed to existing tiles without cracking them along the edges?
Fixing points are chosen away from tile edges and drilled with ceramic bits at low speed. The wall profile is then sealed with sanitary silicone so no direct load concentrates on a single tile edge.
Does Kuwait's hard water affect a shower cabin after installation?
Hard water leaves mineral deposits on the glass, profile hinges and shower head over time, and scale build-up on the hinges can affect how firmly the door closes. Periodic cleaning of the hinges keeps the cabin working correctly.
