Can a wall-hung basin be safely fixed to an old block wall?
Yes, but we use heavy nylon anchors instead of metal screws because block is less dense than concrete. We spread the load across several anchors so the block does not crack around one point.
What if the existing pipes are far from the wall where we need to fit the basin?
We run new pipes from the supply point, either inside the wall or surface-mounted depending on construction. If the distance is large we may need to open part of the wall or use concealed external pipes routed behind the basin.
