Can the toilet be moved to a different spot?
The outlet is fixed in the foundation, but we can raise the pan with shims and run a new waste pipe over the floor to reach the existing outlet. This lengthens the pipe run and needs a steady fall with no flat spots.
Why does water leak where the pan meets the floor?
Leaks come from an uneven pan base or a missing rubber seal ring. We fit the seal on the outlet first, then lower the pan with equal pressure all around and tighten the bolts in a crossed pattern.
