Can seasonal temperature changes crack the epoxy coating?
The flexible epoxy formula used for outdoor tanks tolerates reasonable expansion and contraction. We select a high-flexibility mix specifically for roof tanks so it moves with concrete without cracking.
Will algae grow on the epoxy surface after application?
Clean epoxy inside the tank submerged in water does not allow algae growth on that surface. The tank exterior may collect algae from air and dust, but this does not affect water quality inside.
