What sets this area apart
Wafra tanks serve farms and agricultural houses near the Saudi border where groundwater is very high in salinity. Dissolved salts and minerals deposit on tank walls and penetrate concrete cracks causing continuous leaking. We open the tank from the top and use electric abrasion equipment to remove white mineral and salt deposits from all inner surfaces, then wash with a cleaning solution before drying and coating.

Will salty agricultural water attack epoxy faster than fresh water?
Yes, significantly. High-salinity water causes faster degradation if coating is thin or weak. We use heavy-duty epoxy formula and greater layer thickness for Wafra tanks.
