Why does the pump stop shortly after starting?
Usually air in the suction line or low level in the ground tank. We disconnect the suction line, fill it manually with water, reconnect it and check the air vent in the tank.
Can I install a more powerful pump on the same old concrete pad?
If the pad is solid we reinforce it with extra concrete blocks under the new motor. We inspect bolts and tighten them firmly before testing.
