How we reach the right pump and the right result
Before any installation or swap, we measure live pressure at several points in the network and check flow from both ground and roof tanks. Kuwait's hard, mineral-heavy water deposits scale inside the pump casing and on impeller blades, gradually cutting output until the fault reads like a power cut. We inspect the existing pump first and decide whether cleaning and servicing is the right call or whether replacement is genuinely necessary.
Each pump type has its own checks. A hot-water circulation pump needs correct rotation direction and proper pipe insulation on the circuit. A sewage pump or sump pump requires verifying installation depth, discharge head height and a functioning non-return valve; skip that and backflow destroys the pump. A pressure switch is calibrated against the measured network pressure range, not set by guesswork.
After installation, we run the pump in front of the owner and watch the full start-stop cycle while reading pressure on the gauge. Connections are checked for any weeping, and the float or level sensor controlling automatic operation is tested by simulating the trigger condition. Handover happens only after confirming the pump holds stable operation within the set pressure band.

My pump starts and stops very rapidly; does it need replacing?
Most likely not. Rapid cycling usually means the expansion vessel has lost its pre-charge or the pressure switch needs recalibration. We diagnose the cause first before recommending any replacement.
Is a sewage pump installed differently from a roof-tank transfer pump?
Yes. A sewage pump requires a calculated discharge head, a mandatory non-return valve and clearance from solid waste, none of which apply to a clean-water transfer pump.
The sump pump in our basement stopped; is this an immediate risk?
It depends on whether water is actively entering. If the basement receives any seepage or drainage, treat it as urgent. We are available around the clock for exactly this situation.
Is a hot-water circulation pump necessary or just a comfort feature?
