Does the pump need periodic internal cleaning of deposits?
Yes, if the water carries lime or iron deposits. We open the pump head yearly, rinse the impeller and seals with clean water and remove deposits with a soft brush. Neglecting this, the pump gradually loses pressure.
What if the ground tank is very far from where the pump needs to sit?
