Can we use two smaller tanks instead of one large tank?
Yes, in some cases two tanks distribute the load better on the roof and make cleaning easier. But inlet and outlet lines become more complex and need extra fittings to balance water flow between them.
What if the roof cannot support a tank that size?
We suggest a smaller tank with adequate capacity, or choose a wide low tank instead of a tall narrow one. If the roof is very weak we can place a tank underground and install a pump instead.
