What sets this area apart
Between Adan Co-op and the sea, the ground stays damp not far below the surface, and a hole left open overnight can partly fill. We run a dewatering pump throughout, lay a blinding layer on the dry base, and extend the base slab beyond the walls so the soil above it helps hold the tank down. The outer membrane is lapped under the base, because groundwater presses from below as well as from the sides.
