How many test points do we place in one apartment before closure?
We place a test point at every waste outlet: master bath, toilet, kitchen and washing machine. Each point flows for at least 5 minutes to spot any hidden pipe leaks before surfaces are finished.
Should hot and cold water pipes run side by side in the apartment?
We do not recommend running them side by side because hot pipe heat transfers to cold pipe and wastes energy. We space them 5–10 cm apart in separate chases so they reach distribution blocks at their correct temperature.
