Can we reuse old pipes from the previous apartment configuration?
We first inspect them by running water and applying pressure to detect cracks or blockages. If the old pipes pass testing and their route suits the new layout, we keep them; otherwise we replace them.
What if there is no drain stack near the bathroom?
We cut a path under the floor to the nearest existing stack, ensuring a minimum fall of 1 centimetre per metre. If fall is not possible, we install a small submersible waste pump to push water upward.
