Do the floor drains in the main and guest bathrooms need separate waste lines?
They can share one waste line if they sit at the same level or close to it, but the line must be at least 75 mm diameter to handle flow from both traps. If the drains sit at different heights, a separate line is safer.
How do you handle the fall if the floor drain sits deeper than the main stack?
We slope the pipe continuously upward from the drain to where it meets the main stack, ensuring water flows without trapping. If the height difference is large, we use a 45-degree branch instead of a 90-degree bend.
