Can the sink position be moved after the first fix?
It can be done but is difficult because it means breaking walls and re-running pipes from the stack. Best to fix the final position before first fix so we run supply and waste direct with fewer joints.
Do I need a separate vent line for the kitchen sink?
Yes, if the sink sits far from the main stack. We run a thin vent pipe from the sink up through the roof to let air in and prevent the trap siphoning dry. If it is very close, the stack vent may be enough.
