Correctly sized PPR supply lines, graded waste runs and grease-trap venting, all pressure-tested before screed is poured.

  • 24-hour emergency
  • Camera first, every job
  • Leak detection without breaking
  • All six governorates

What the first-fix covers

Hot and cold supply, waste and vent lines positioned before any finishing begins

Hot and cold supply

PPR runs sized for sink, dishwasher and fridge-water connections

Sink waste line

uPVC drain at correct fall to stop grease settling inside the pipe

Grease trap and vent

Grease trap position and vent stack stub to block sewer odour entry

Central gas point

Gas supply stub-out to cooker position run before wall cladding closes

Kitchen heater connection

Supply and drain stub prepared at the right height for the water heater

Pressure test and handover

Recorded pressure test on all supply lines before any wall is closed

How the job runs

01

Call or WhatsApp

Describe the build stage and the connection points needed in the kitchen

02

Site visit

We inspect the site to plot pipe routes, drain fall and gas stub position

03

Pipe installation

PPR, uPVC and gas lines laid and bracketed to the agreed drawing

04

Pressure test

Supply lines held at test pressure; result recorded before any wall is closed

05

Handover

A simple as-built sketch of point positions handed over for the finishing team

Materials and methods used

PPR pressure pipe

Withstands Kuwait roof-tank heat and resists the mineral scale that narrows older metal pipes

uPVC waste pipe

Lightweight and grease-resistant, joined at a precise gradient to prevent fat build-up inside

Push-fit slip couplings

Allow fine adjustment of pipe runs without heat welding, sealed with a rated rubber ring

Pressure test gauge

Fitted to the manifold to confirm steady pressure before sign-off and wall closure

What to have ready before you call

01

Kitchen layout drawing

Mark sink, dishwasher, fridge and cooker positions on a sketch before work begins

02

Gas or electric cooker decision

Both gas stub and electrical point are hard to add once the wall is plastered and tiled

03

Current construction stage

Tell us whether the slab is poured and whether block walls are up or still open

04

Heater type for kitchen

Confirm heater type so the stub-out is set at the right height and pipe diameter

What decides the price

No fixed rate applies; these factors shape the quote after the site is assessed

Number of connection points

Each added outlet (dishwasher, fridge, heater) increases pipe runs and fittings

Central gas line inclusion

Running a gas stub adds different materials and a separate pressure-test procedure

Drain run length

Greater distance to the main stack increases pipe quantity and support brackets needed

Pipe specification grade

Higher pressure-class or thicker-wall pipe raises material cost directly

Trade coordination required

Kitchens needing simultaneous electrical first-fix require coordinated site visits

Can the kitchen sink position be changed after the floor slab is poured?

Moving a drain outlet after the slab is poured means cutting into concrete, which is possible but adds cost and disruption. Fixing the position beforehand avoids this entirely.

Why does a kitchen waste line need a steeper fall than a bathroom drain?

Cooking fat solidifies inside the pipe as it cools. A steeper gradient moves grease toward the trap before it can settle. Bathroom waste carries far less fat so a shallower fall is acceptable.

Is kitchen first-fix plumbing completed in a single visit?

A standard kitchen with a sink, dishwasher and one heater point is typically finished in one visit. Large kitchens combining multiple appliances and a gas line may need a second day.

Is the grease trap part of the first-fix or installed later?

The drain stub and vent connection for the grease trap must be set during first-fix. The trap body itself can be fitted later, but its position and pipe opening must be built in before the floor is closed.

Should hot water pipes be thermally insulated during the first-fix stage?

Yes, particularly for runs buried in walls. Kuwait's ambient wall temperatures raise pipe surface heat; insulation reduces heat loss and protects PPR joints over the long term.
