In sandy soil, are rigid PVC pipes safe?
Yes but only above ground or in walls. Under the floor we use flexible PE because it moves with sandy soil and won't crack. Rigid pipes fracture when soil shifts, even slightly.
What if the soakage well in the garden collapses?
We dig a new well deeper or wider away from tree roots, then reconnect the pipe from the house to the new well underground. If sands are very wet we may suggest two separate wells, one for bathroom and one for kitchen drainage.
