Where does the bubble pump go if the ceiling is full of air conditioning ducts?

Should the hot waste pipe be insulated after installation?
Water draining from the jacuzzi cools quickly and insulation is optional if the pipe is in a heated bathroom. If the pipe runs underground or through cold spaces, insulation prevents condensation and moisture.
