What if the new tub is larger than the existing drain opening?
We carefully enlarge the opening if bathroom walls permit. In very old Qasr houses, walls are thick and may contain old pipes, so we check before widening.
Can a slow leak from an old tub be fixed without full replacement?
Sometimes if the leak is from the seal around the drain. We remove the old putty and fit a new joint with flexible silicone. If the leak is from the tub body itself, it must be replaced.
