Can we install a toilet beside the sink without moving the floor trap?
If the trap is very close we can, but there must be a steady downward slope from the toilet to the opening. If the trap sits far away horizontally, we must cut a new channel under tiles to improve fall.
Will existing tiles break when we cut the channel?
Old ceramic tiles tend to crack when cut. We use a wet saw to reduce splashing and dust, and try to preserve intact tile edges. If damage occurs we source matching tiles from local shops.
