How do we keep the pan stable on a sandy floor?
We excavate beneath it and fill the base with compacted sand and clean gravel fifteen centimetres deep. Then we apply special adhesive between the pan base and the solid foundation and let it cure fully before testing use.
Can we use the old soil pipe or do we need a new one?
We inspect the soil pipe from inside the floor and run water through it to check for blockage or cracks. If water flows freely we use it; otherwise we lay a new ceramic pipe from the pan to the pit.
