Can a leaking joint in the main water line be repaired without stopping production?
In some cases we use temporary pressure rings to reduce flow while we disconnect the joint. But most leaking joints need only a few minutes of line stoppage. We estimate the time needed at the first inspection.
What if the pressure test shows a new leak after repair?
We disconnect the joint again and inspect the thread and washer for damage or mineral buildup. We clean or replace what is needed then reassemble with fresh thread tape on every fitting.
