How do you know if a crack can be welded or the tank must be replaced?
We fill the tank and watch exactly where the leak appears, then measure wall thickness with a gauge. If cracks are short and few and walls remain thick enough, strong welding is sufficient.
Can I use the tank immediately after the crack is welded?
No, the weld must cool completely, usually at least two hours. We fill the tank slowly and watch the repair for another hour before returning to full pumping.
