How often must we inspect the tank to ensure it stays leak-free?
First inspection three days after fill, second after two weeks, then once monthly. We check bolts, joints and base for cracks and slow leaks each time.
Can we add a small electric pump to the distribution line from the tank?
Yes, but mount it 1.5 metres below the tank minimum to ensure adequate gravity pressure. Install a check valve before the pump to prevent vacuum if power cuts out.
