Does an underground tank always need an electric pump?
Yes, to lift water from the tank to your roof where the distribution tank sits. Without a pump, water won't reach upper floors with adequate pressure. We select the pump size based on tank depth and number of storeys.
What if we hit groundwater during digging?
We raise the tank floor above groundwater level and install a drainage system around the walls. We use a drain pump during excavation and building, then remove it when done.
