If the kitchen is on the third floor, does building height affect gas pressure?
Floor height does not directly affect pressure, but line length from inlet to appliances needs exact calculation. We step up pressure from the regulator down the pipes to the third floor and test there. If loss is significant, we increase bore or fit a secondary regulator near the kitchen.
Can an external supply company connect gas straight without coordinating with you?
We insist there must be one recognized inlet point certified by the regulator, and inlet pressure must match the specifications for the entire line. If an outside supplier connects without checks, they risk overpressure or mismatch. We coordinate with all parties and retest the line after any new connection.
