Can we raise the existing floor trap to improve the gradient?
Yes, but it means opening the concrete around the trap and building it up. We check that pipes below won't be harmed, then reset the concrete level with the original floor slope.
What if the drop between the drain point and the trap is less than one centimetre?
A drain with no fall stagnates water fast and smells quickly. We suggest either moving the trap lower or fitting a small submersible pump beside the trap to lift the waste.
