How do you prevent pipe and wire routes from crossing?
We use engineering drawings to reserve separate zones: water and drainage on the east side of the wall, electrics on the west. Every route is photographed before closure.
When should water and drainage pipes be tested?
Water pipes are pressure-tested at 10 bar before plastering begins, and drainage pipes are tested with running water for three hours. Delays past this stage make fixing any fault very difficult later.
