If the back wall is not perfectly straight, will water seep through gaps?

Can we install the cabin a little distance from the back wall?
We do not prefer this because the gap would let spray behind the cabin and trap moisture in the wall. The cabin must touch the wall directly so the seal is complete and sound across its full depth.
