What sets this area apart

What if the bathroom is so small the current toilet pan does not fit?
We measure the space first and choose a slightly smaller pan if one exists. If the issue is sideways space we carefully trim a small corner from the pan edge without weakening the porcelain; this gains a few extra centimetres.
Will fitting the toilet cause noise when neighbours also use their toilets?
Noise comes from pipes under the floor as water flows, and we reduce it by wrapping new drains in protective foam. We fit the waste at a diameter large enough to slow water speed and cut vibration that causes sound.
