How long does the epoxy take to cure before refilling?
The coat dries to the touch in six hours but we do not refill until forty-eight hours have passed. This gives the epoxy enough time to harden fully before water pressure stresses it.
Does epoxy seal cracks that already exist in an older tank?
Epoxy seals fine and hairline cracks, but deeper splits over half a millimetre need epoxy filler before coating. We inspect under strong light and identify required fills before cleaning begins.
