Why do fibreglass tank cracks differ from plastic tank cracks?
Fibreglass is harder and less flexible than plastic, so cracks are sharp and straight. Plastic is more elastic and cracks in jagged lines. Welding material must match the flexibility or it will fail.
Can a pressure crack at the pipe joint be welded, or must the fitting be replaced?
