Can two adjacent units share one water supply line to save cost?
We do not recommend it because pressure will drop if both units use taps together. Each unit needs a separate branch from the distribution box with its own isolation valve for independent maintenance or repair.
How do we prevent floor flooding if the main waste stack gets blocked?
We install a floor trap in the corridor outside the unit, connected to the main stack via a separate pipe. If the stack backs up, water overflows to the trap instead of entering the units.
