Can a plastic tank with multiple cracks be welded?
Yes, if the cracks are separated. We weld each crack individually, letting it cool between passes to prevent material warping from excess heat.
Is the weld permanent or will the tank leak again?
The weld heals the crack permanently if caused by thermal stress or impact. But if the tank is very old, plastic may crack elsewhere later due to material fatigue.
