Can a tank be welded while it is partially full?
No, the weld area must be completely drained and dried. We lower the level well below the crack for at least two hours, then allow air to circulate and dry the surface fully.
How many times can the same crack be re-welded?
Once is usually sufficient if the crack is fine and the weld penetrates deeply. If it cracks again, the plastic tank may be aged and replacement becomes safer than repeated repairs.
